CANADIAN ROOTS. A CLEAR TEACHING PURPOSE.

Language teaching deserves a thoughtfully built path.

Founded in Canada in 2015, Smash Education develops complete French, English and Spanish language curricula for learners from K–12 through higher education.

We connect structured classroom instruction, independent practice and meaningful progress insights so educators can focus on what matters most: helping learners use the language.

WHAT GUIDES US

Support the teacher. Build the learner’s confidence.

A language curriculum needs more than a collection of activities. It needs a clear sequence, meaningful opportunities to communicate and room for learners who start at different levels.

Teachers bring the instruction, judgment and human connection. Smash provides complete curricula, ready-to-use resources and progress information to help educators plan, differentiate and guide the next step.

Purposeful sequence

Build vocabulary around a theme, then practise applied grammar using those words and expressions in connected contexts.

Room for differences

Diagnostic and placement information helps educators identify appropriate starting points, with resources for scaffolding, reinforcement and extension.

Real communication

A level-appropriate situational video models the theme’s language in conversation. Action-oriented tasks let learners use it for a meaningful purpose, with all four skills developing throughout.

Learners at the centre

Engaging, age-appropriate content supports confidence, participation and a positive relationship with language learning.

LANGUAGES ARE ALIVE

Our content evolves with them.

Language is constantly evolving, and meaningful language education should reflect how people communicate.

Smash develops French, English and Spanish learning experiences that connect structured instruction with relevant contexts, engaging activities and opportunities for real communication.

Lessons and activities are refined and updated over time, while educators choose the content and practice that fit their learners.

THREE LANGUAGES. GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES.

Depth by design.

Developing comprehensive language curricula takes time and care.

We focus on French, English and Spanish so we can create purposeful learning sequences, meaningful communication activities and resources that support learners at different stages.

French

From first steps to real conversations.

English

For multilingual and additional-language learners.

Spanish

Structured learning for meaningful communication.

We would love to develop more languages over time. Share which language you would like to see next, or explore our community-led Indigenous language partnerships.
